I added some more photos of my garb.  A few pictures a fairly old.  Most are within the past year and half though.  I'll try to add some more photos later on.  

One of the gowns, the red Italian, sold a few years back.  I just didn't like it on me.   

The pink Italian...yeah, that photo is odd at best.  The dress looks okay but I have no idea why I have a black line above my left eye....

Posted a few new pictures.  The green Elizabethan is my latest creation.  The Viking Garb picture isn't all that great of me but the garb itself looks nice.  I really couldn't find a decent (aka not bright sun in my face) of the Tudor either.  

I had so much fun!  I was so happy to see so many of my friends at faire.  I'm sorry I didn't get to go today; I came home from work and just dropped!  Considering this week is a 6 day work week (Hey, more money for faire!), I just didn't want to push myself.  I will be there next week and hope to see everyone I accidentally missed.   Hugs to all!

 

And...what should I wear next weekend?  I want to re-create my pink tudor (It won't take long.  The bodice is just way too big anymore and I've already taken it in.  I just need to redo the bodice and then sew the skirt and sleeves back on) but I can do that by next weekend.  Maybe make a new gown for the weekend?  I have some really pretty silks that would be light weight (I'm sure if I make a lightweight gown, it will turn freezing cold this weekend.  It's my luck).  Maybe a German gown to go with the theme of MDRF this year?  Any ideas?

I figured I'd start a Christian focused group.  After all most of the middle ages and Renaissance was defined by Christianity!  That, and I wanted somewhere I could post the mass schedule and rosary prayer service for Pennsic.  :-) 

A comment made over in one of the SCA boards I watch has got me thinking; why is it certain individuals at either large events or the ren faire believe they can dress and behave however they please?
